About Me

CURRENT MISSION

get out of debt. keep loving the life im living. buy you a beer. convert a car to run on vegetable oil in cape verde. be the best friend i can possibly be to all the friends i have, and to all the ones i have yet to make.

ABOUT ME

well lets see. so i was born in Canada, moved to America when i was 2 months old, was raised mostly in Upstate New York, but with a few months out of every year in the area outside Tampa Florida. I traveled around a lot while i was homeschooling, but ultimately decided to go to high school in my home town. i went to college at Suny Albany, which i didnt really like much, so i graduated early and went to Africa to start a business with some friends. My father is American, and my mother is of mixed west african origins. i have no Canadian blood in me, but i am still a citizen, and as such, remain friendlier than most pure Americans :p

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Back in the day i did a modest bit of backpacking. in hindsight, i realize that my perception of the countries i visited was in large part determined by the people i experienced them with. by and large, the countries i enjoyed the most were the ones where i stayed with friends, or met good locals who put me up and showed me around. altogether my experiences backpacking have been some of the richest ones of my life, and ultimately, if i can contribute positively to what will certainly be an unforgettable experience for a like minded person, then it would be my honor to do so.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

oh lordy lifes been a fun ride. from all night adventures that start in manhattan and end in brooklyn, to losing the wrong kind of bet regarding a lady boys anatomy out in thailand, getting rolled up on by paramilitary in the southern phillipines, to drinking rum and staying up all night on a row boat in the Nile, running for our lives from a gang of 5 year olds in indonesia, waking up at quebra canela beach with a girl that looked like Baraka from mortal kombat 2, going out to the club in Albany and waking up 30 miles away on top of a mountain that can see into 3 states, rowdy nights at hostels where we didnt even go to bed, eating a few to many pot brownies up at harvard, sleeping naked in a common room at yale. the best of all are the times we will never remember with the friends we will never forget.

Interests

going to the beach. hanging out in sugar loaf. having drinks with friends. having a few more drinks with friends. traveling. seeing new places, meeting new people. working on interesting projects. body surfing. trying to see how dark i can get if i spend as much time as i can in the sun. ultimate mortal kombat 3. warfish. helping out good people. selling pickles.
