About Me

CURRENT MISSION

People fascinate me. So I do everything beyond reasonable means to meet and get to know as many of individuals as possible.

ABOUT ME

Life is about living so thats what I spend most of my time doing. I love to cook and read and drink and meet people.

PHILOSOPHY

The journey is the most important part of travel because you learn the most from what you haven't planned or expected.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted some CSers when I lived in Newark DE and in my current city of Philadelphia and thoroughly enjoyed the wide range of individuals I have met.

I have surfed in various cities in the states as well as France, Germany, England, and Czech Republic, very grateful towards all of my hosts.

Interests

They change on a monthly basis. I'll get excited about this new hobby and immerse myself in it, then I see something shiny that someone else is playing with...

but when I go back to the states I started to work on my spanish again and hoping I can commit this time around.

Music, Movies, and Books

Recent author phases are Hemmingway and Tom Robbins. But I love to read classics because usually they are widely known for a reason. And have an important message to say and learn from.

Music include Spoon, The Weepies, Rogue Wave, Regina Spektor, Iron and Wine, Adele, The Smashing Pumpkins, REM, Postal Service, Simon and Garfunkel, Michael Jackson, Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, Nizlopi, Elton John, Bob Dylan, Grateful Dead, Otis Redding, Pheonix, and Noah and the Whale.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed the highest point of the Great Wall of China.

Met Rafael Nadal after he won his Gold Medal at a Beijing Club.

Slept a night under the gorgeous views of the Italian Riviera.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a huge geek and love talking about medical problems specfically mental disorders or hand problems. I know more about Lymphatic Filariasis or Lymphedema than people should.

I know this probably will not convince you to host me or want to stay with me but I figured I should be upfront about being a nerd.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
