About Me
In Short:
Outdoorsy, Eco-conscious, Easy-Going, Kitesurfing, Being Underwater, Running away from Humanity (except for nice people obviously)
And a bit longer:
After years in Uganda, i am now in Dahab, Egypt and soon back to Berlin for the summer, after that who knows:)
Consciousness for our beeeauuutiful planet and environment are super important to me, so I try to minimize my impact wherever I go.
I'm an absolute nature lover always on the lookout for the most remote places - of course i fell in love with the desert, but also love the sea, the forest... anything thats not a city.
Trying to find a good balance between meeting new people to get to know different perspectives and spending time on my own.
Prefer getting up early over staying up late (i tend to be super active during the day and then just die at night).
I find kids and animals to play with wherever I go to.
Always up for an outdoor-adventure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
There is no better way to explore a new place and meet amazing new people
Interests
My interests are pretty much everything, i love to meet people from everywhere and have a good laugh with them, as much as i enjoy to be somewhere in the middle of nowhere.
I got into kitesurfing a few months ago and fell in love. After scuba-diving for a little bit, I'm now exploring freediving.

Music, Movies, and Books
Hmm Books.. definitely “River God” by Wilber Smith, a lot from Rafik Schami, “Anna Karenina” Tolstoj , but in the end I’ll basically read everything!
With movies I’m a hopeless classic romantic: Nottinghill, Serendipity, Four weddings and a funeral etc. (Also enjoyed Wonderwoman, Harry Potter (who doesn’t)..But to be honest, most times I fall asleep 10 minutes into any movie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Staying a night in the middle of Akagera-Nationalpark, just with some friends and a tent and without any knowledge about anything, without a ranger and without a car. Hearing the hippos and hyeanas very close to us, but not seeing them the whole night... scary but unforgettable.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can bake bread, cakes and a beautiful lasagne on an open fire! Living on a remote, off the grid island for over 4 years has definitely taught me a lot of basic skills, that I am happy to share!:)
I can also make soap!
I love learning all kinds of new things, surprise me 😊
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love listening to adventure and travel stories and I can tell a few myself;)
Honestly, If it works out I’m happy to spend time together and get to know each other properly, but I’m also very happy to spend time with myself, if you’re busy or just don’t feel like socializing!
