Hi guys!

I'm Norah - a 21-year-old girl from Northern Europe with a passion for everything art and culture. Usually you can find me scribbling in my notebook or drinking coffee with my friends, but also among animals or in the middle of a deep forest. I just moved to Lisbon where I'll stay for a couple of months studying art history and working on a small documentary film plus my collection of poems, all from home. :)

I love the thought of travelling not being something only people with great budgets are entitled to. That, in addition to exploring new cultures and ways of thinking and living, is what I think is the most effective and wonderful way of spending time away from home - or perhaps, finding another home.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I can't think of a time when music, film and books wasn't a big part of my life. Therefore I have gone through several phases in terms of interests and preferences, and can now say that I stand with a VERY varied and straggly taste, haha.

When it comes to music, I enjoy genres like shoegaze and indie music, 70s afrobeat, funk, soul, jazz, 90s hip hop, deep house and techno. Yep, pretty miscellaneous.

I like reading a lot of Swedish poetry and prose, but also love the classic beat generation literature. Film-wise I enjoy directors like David Lynch, the Swedish Roy Andersson, Ingmar Bergman and Lukas Moodysson along with Quentin Tarantino, Wes Anderson and the Coen brothers - a good mix of action, independent, comedy, love and crime (my guilty pleasure is horror films). Currently I'm enjoying the cult classic tv-series "Sopranos".

I can teach you some good phrases to know in Swedish and Finnish - for example "Hej! Hur mår du?" or "Moi! Mitä kuuluu?", some basic chords on the guitar, the ukulele or the piano and fun curiosa about anything really (I love goofy facts about random stuff - don't ask me why). I'm a huge conversation person and love talking about anything people-related - like personalities, feelings, emotions, thoughts and upbringings - but also about life in general, the world, culture, music and so on. Ask me anything!
