ABOUT ME

I am a cognitive scientist/cognitive anthropologist, finishing up my PhD on the reasons why people believe in witches. I was born in the US but lived in Northern Ireland for 5 years, studying religious conflict, hiking in the rain, and drinking beer. I love Lyon but my French is awful. I'm currently also teaching psychology in Boston and am a visiting scholar in New Haven, CT. I'm all over the place, but insist on making time for fun and exploration, by myself or with the couch surfing community.
