ABOUT ME
I am a friendly, curious person. I grew up near Chicago, but I've moved around quite a bit. I've lived on both sides of the mountains in Washington state, where I worked as a community organizer. I've spent months being homeless on the road. I have lived at a rural commune in Virginia, and now live at an urban commune on Staten Island. I love reading, travel, and activism. I am an in-house counsel for a small labor union.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One cold winters night while I was living in Virginia we built an enormous pyramid of wood on the frozen lake, lit it on fire and watched it burn while we skated around it, ashes falling down like snow.

A beer and good company.
