CURRENT MISSION
Simplifying as much as possible. Laughing and Smiling
ABOUT ME
I am definitely a people person. I enjoy staying home and reading books/watching films as much as going outside to party or play in nature. A lover of life. I am like a social chameleon, adapting to any (well, most) environments, whether quiet or rambunctious. In the past I have done fishing in Alaska, Logging in Montana, Power plant operating in Antarctica and even a stint as a customer service rep for AT&T Wireless. Amazing people are everywhere, you just gotta keep your head up and heart open. Now I am selling cars in the tech capital of the world and I love it. In my free time I am plotting my next move in location and field. I haven't figured it out yet, but I want to be involved in the creative industries somehow (music, film, art of all forms).
PHILOSOPHY
Who knows what magic tomorrow may bring? Everything is accepted. I am nonjudgmental to the extreme. Constantly a student and teacher. Embracing the mystery. Sometimes, when life offers me something that makes me uncomfortable, and I can feel a conditioned response rising, I'll just breathe and move forward. I love interesting people. Now give me an interesting person with good intentions and I'm in heaven.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
***NOTE: I have been receiving quite a few requests from folks that are simply looking for a free room for a few days or even a week or more. Couchsurfing is here for travelers to stay with other travelers. If you are coming here for a job search or for interviews you really should just look in to local hotels. ****I can ALWAYS be persuaded with clever requests, however!****
Really, really enjoying hosting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started hearing about the CS website a few years ago while I was hanging out in Thailand. Later, while playing in Seattle, I made a new friend who hosts people quite often. I have surfed couches in Australia, NZ and here in America. I love the entire concept of CS.org and I look forward to meeting other travelers and sharing stories, experiences and views.
Interests
I love reading fiction. Traveling of course. Eating yummy food of course. Playing in water. Discovering new bands and rockin out to live music. Climbing up, like uphill hikes or running stairs. swimming outdoors. I love family and community and helping others. I am focused on integrity and laughter and truth seeking. I ove nutrition, exercise and fitness and doing what I can to be a badass, intelligent and witty 90 year old (when the time comes)

Music, Movies, and Books
Currently reading Moby Dick. Recently I have read Master & the Margarita, Zorba the Greek, The Otherland series by Tad Williams (I love sci-fi and fantasy). Music, I LOVE heavy music. Bands like TOOL, ISIS, Mastodon, NIN, Baroness, Colour Haze, etc. I also enjoy most other genres but the heavy stuff stirs up my soul the most. I really, really enjoy watching movies and lately I have been exploring more horror and foreign films. Right now, at this moment, I am listening to a new album by Rose Windows called Sun Dogs which wouldn't really be classified and heavy, but holy cow I'm loving it. I currently have tickets to see Dax Riggs, Dead Meadow and NIN. YOB, Giant Squid and Boris up next!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Parachuting next to Mt Ranier in Washington State USA was pretty cool. Visiting Israel for a way too short 3 weeks was beyond words. I have enjoyed 3 summers and 2 winters way down South in Antarctica, many stories and perspectives to share from those experiences. Logging in Montana was a crazy experience which taught me so much about myself and just how limiting our belief systems can be.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn more about world history, so I can better understand (and filter out junk) current events. I love learning about the body. Lately I am thinking a lot about brain health and optimization. I have studied a lot about nutrition. I have a lot of knowledge about the underground music scene.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My home, and all that entails. Lively conversation with fascinating stories. A bottle of wine.
