My name is Noreen and I'm from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. I recently graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in nutritional sciences. Traveling has always been a dream of mine, so taking about a year off to see the world following graduation seemed like the best thing to do! I love to cook, do yoga, run, hike, and learn about anything and everything; I'm always looking for a new topic to understand. Music is one of my main sources of happiness and expression, most of my money goes towards concerts and CDs. Given my work at the hospital, I am passionate about taking care of people and animals, and have an extremely empathetic side.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think traveling via couch surfing would be an amazing way to really delve into the culture of a specific place. Given my love for learning and new experiences, I think staying with people that could teach and share their ideas from a completely different perspective would be the best way to see the world!

Music: everything! but if I had to give a little list I'd say..... Angus and Julia Stone, alt-J, Jay Z, Post Malone, Banks, Drake, Rihanna, the Beatles, Kings of Leon, Incubus, Bob Marley, J. Cole, Blink-182 ( and pretty much anything punk), The Head and the Heart, James Vincent McMorrow, the Kooks, Young the Giant... but that's just the start :)

Movies: don't watch them very often, but TV shows are a different story -- Game of Thrones and The Office being my favorites.

Books: Eating Mangos Naked, The Good Girls Guide to Getting Lost, and the Defining Decade are some of my favorites
