About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Preparing for the next fun and drunken adventure!
ABOUT ME
Made in Japan, well-fed in Tasmania, Australia(literally I temporarily gained 5kg with Cadbury chocolate and wedges with sweet chili sauce and sour cream - yum), then exported to San Francisco, USA, where I my heart still belongs. After spending 5 years in the lovely chilly high-tech city, somehow I decided to live/work in a rural low-tech city of Rajshahi, Bangladesh as a volunteer for 1.5 years. And now being back in Japan and spending/working 1.5 years in a very VERY Japanese company, I finally realized that life is too short to work 12 hours a day. So, I am moving to Germany in this fall and start another adventure!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am a big fan of this community and always try to welcome and share stories with traveling couchsurfers as much as I can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was traveling around Germany/UK for a month and stayed with 3 couchsurfers in various locations - and I have to say, without them, my trip would have been so boring and miserable! I was really surprised how nice CS people are...they always welcome me with warm heart and willing to help me out! Although I cannot host anyone at my place, I would love to return their wonderful hospitality by helping traveling CSers in wherever I am.
Interests
Reading good books, indulging myself in chocolate and wine, thrift shopping dresses and shoes(aka treasure hunting), snap shooting strangers on the street, experimental cooking/baking, weekend brunching, cafeing, searching for a perfect chai tea, weekday evening with Nina Simon and Samuel Smith, late night movie theatre with popcorn, singing and dancing like no one is watching, political discussions, collecting abandoned frames on the street, watching movies on VHS, Guinness and good friends at pubs.

Music, Movies, and Books
Yes, I love good tasteful movies, books and music like everyone else, but I am really specific about what it means by "good" and "tasteful"!
Movies (and directors) I like so much that never get sick of watching them over and over again: Akira Kurosawa é»
