My name is Norite and I am an Art Therapist and Marriage and Family Therapist. I was born and raised in New Jersey but I’ve lived in San Francisco and Oakland for almost 10 years but recently moved to south Florida to be closer to my family. In my free time I love traveling, making art, dancing, going on hikes with my dog, going to concerts, and making new friends! I’m a solo traveler who doesn’t smoke. I’m a kind, considerate and respectful house guest who will leave you with a piece of my tiny art.

I love being outdoors and hiking, paddle boarding, backcountry backpacking, running. I also enjoy dancing, yoga, going to concerts, discovering new music, making music with friends, eating yummy food, cooking, making art, going to museums, sharing my art, writing letters, and of course traveling.

When I moved out West I became more connected to nature. I went on my first backcountry backpacking experience with a group of people I had never met before and woke up to coyotes yapping, saw whales swimming along the coast, and made a campfire underneath the Milky Way. I never knew such simple pleasures could be so fulfilling.

I love to make and share my tiny art work. I travel with small pieces of watercolor paper and watercolors to make my art anywhere I go. I typically paint small floral arrangements. It is both healing and grounding for me to not only make my art but to share it too!
