About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to explore different corners of the world and experience the diverse cultures, cuisines, music styles, arts and views of the world. I want to get into the local backstage of places and experience the everyday life in different countries.

ABOUT ME

I am a bubbly and open-minded person who loves meeting new people and discovering different cultures and views of the world. Even though I am dutiful when it comes to studies, I also know how to enjoy life with all its daily surprises.

PHILOSOPHY

Eat well and travel often.

Interests

I love spending time outside in the nature walking, cycling or just chilling because nature gives me a feeling of peacefulness and happiness. Also, I spend a lot of free time together with my friends, talking about everything under the sun and enjoying good music, food, art and films. I love visiting photography exhibitions, playing guitar, joggling, singing, reading good books, cooking and eating with friends and going wild to good music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: When I lived in Amsterdam until summer 2012, I had a cinema membership and went to the movies about 5 times a month. I don't have a favourite film but I love Kill Bill, The Green Mile, Closer, Rain Man, Hannibal, Aviator and many more...

Music: I like a wide range of music and can get lost dancing in a lot of different styles (apart from most mainstream pop songs and R'n'B): Dubstep, Drum 'n' Base, Minimal, Funk, Jazz, Classical Piano, Reggae

Books: I would say that the most impressive and moving book I've ever read was The Parfum from Süßkind. Also, I love Stieg Larsson's books, Michael Ende's books. I guess, I'm into books that are somehow magical and fantastical but also thrilling and brutal. I love getting lost in stories and completely putting myself into a different world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I spent five months living and working in Namibia, I went to see the Sossusvlei desert-the biggest dunes in the world. Walking in those dunes amazed me like nothing had amazed me before and ever since. These dunes seemed so ancient, so powerful and so infinite that I felt like a little unimportant worm in the huge universe. This experience showed me the worth and magnificense of our nature.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to knit and crochet and I can teach you basic guitar skills and joggling skills. Also, I can teach you German Language and Piano.

I would love to learn how to cook dishes from different cultures and I would love to improve my guitar skills. Also, I am up for learning anything that you find worth learning.

I want to share ordinary, extra-ordinary and inspiring moments of life with other people.
