Hi fellow couch surfers, I'm new to the scene! Update: Not so new anymore!

Things that keep me busy: making plans for the weekend. Cooking with the fiance. Eating and trying new restaurants around town. Reading, teen fiction currently ( remember I'm a nanny).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly have been hosted by incredible people. I love the platform that couch-surfing provides for other like-minded people to share one anothers experiences, knowledge, advice, help. Couchsurfing allows for the opportunity to genuinely get to know someone in a short brief moment and possibly make lasting friendships or future travel buddies and all experiences I have shared while couch-surfing have been the most rewarding parts of traveling.

Always a blast. Picked up some recipes, shared many laughs, deciphered the english language and it's many accents….

As for you, I don't need to be entertained bc I can totally hang solo but I never say no to company when it's there. Ever!

not a big movie person, but I have watched Stepbrothers, Jumanji, and Remember the Titans close to an infinite amount of times.

Books: East of Eden, I and Thou

Music: The list is endless but I never know the lyrics to anything.

Sometimes when you get the chance to travel more all the new exciting experiences can cloud your memories. The most amazing thing I've done: is cooking with my grandmother on her rock pit/oven/stove (yes it's all of the above). It has been amazing to me for the simple fact that it's been made of rocks that her or my grandfather or my uncles/aunts have gathered when they were younger. On my trips since it's pretty amazing to see her still use it even with a stove next to it and crank out tortillas like no other.

Other: Seeing sunrise on one coast of Santorini, Greece and seeing sunset on the other all while traversing the island on an atv.

Floating in Vang Vieng River and admiring the nature around me for hours.
