ABOUT ME

I grew up in Glasgow, studied in Manchester, then returned home for a year and a half before my first big trip to India, South East Asia and Australia. Returned home in 2004, worked for a bank for a year, caught up with old friends, made new ones, then set off for Japan. I worked in Hokkaido, Japan for 13 months where I first heard about Couchsurfing. After finishing work I travelled a little in Japan, then fromHong Kong to Riga overland, via China, Mongolia and the Transiberian. I want to thank all the people I met on the way through couchsurfing for giving me some great experiences I would never have had otherwise. I am now living in Barcelona, teaching in a primary school here and loving every minute of it so far.

Surfed with numerous people on my way across Asia. Met with a few visitors to Glasgow since returning home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A few random ones - most ineresting probably with a Palestinian family in the West Bank. Amazing experience. After my recent trip, a lot more exprienced in travelling using couchsurfing, met some great people,and hope to meet more in the future
