I'm a 28 year old artist and writer born and raised in Chicago, IL. I'm moving to San Fran for work. the time span is of my stay as it appears on here is a rough estimate since they don't have an option that let's you say TBA.

I've never been to San Fran or California as a whole actually. i've seen a few different places in America, but regrettably, i haven't been out of the country. And I will admit that i'm a bit afraid to see the world alone given the state of the world.

I'm hoping that taking a leap of faith and moving to a place where people only loosely know me will help curb my fears and broaden my horizons.

My good friend recently hipped me to the website. I had never heard of it until two weeks ago. But already, the set up of accountability makes this process feel a little safer. It also buffers the new guy in town worries.

Interests

Like i said, I'm an artist and writer. my concentrations include, metal sculpting, set design, prop making, puppetry.

as for regular human stuff, i'm an active guy. i love walking, sports, biking, working out. i would love to be personally trained in Krav Maga just to check that off my life list.

i'm an adventurous guy, so uncovering a cool mystery is right up my alley. and watch out! i do my research.

I'm a musician as well, so jamming with other talented musicians gets my blood pumping.

other than early 80s R and B, I'm surprisingly into death metal, grunge, late 70s UK Punk, 90s Rand B, most legendary singers from the 20s forward, and lastly, any catchy pop song from the early 2000s to now.

Any movie with superpowers, action, alternate time lines/dimensions, epic destiny tied to some kind of quest. all that stuff is where i live.

I'm not a reader of fiction. i'm drawn more to articles by Physics professors, science journals, research on like quantum entanglement, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

a few years ago, while working on a series of live action comic storyboards, it became necessary to start designing and making my own pieces for the scenes to reach fullness, and my latent mechanical inclination revealed itself. now, anything i can imagine in the realm of machines i can make, not that all machines should be made.
