ABOUT ME

Just graduated from film school in New York. I like making movies and music videos and whatever really.

I live in New York most of the time, and spend time in Virginia when I can.

I've been traveling around working on different projects since June.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't know if I have a personal philosophy exactly. I just like to spend as much time doing things that I care about, and figure out how to deal with everything else when I can.

I just like doing. I like being invited into people's lives and seeing what everyone else experiences day to day. I could go on a big adventure with someone or just sit around and chat.

Film, music, woodworking, biking, writing, metalsmithing.

I really enjoy making things with my hands. Or at least just watching people make things with their hands.

I cook a lot, and bake as well. I really enjoy cooking for people, and especially learning how other people make and enjoy food.

If there was a term for someone who is addicted to whisky, that would describe me.

I don't want to give a big list of movies, but I love hearing about other peoples' favorite films. Mine is probably Blow-Up by Michelangelo Antonioni. I will talk about movies for as long as I can.

I know everyone says it, but I'll listen to almost any music. I guess in particular, I enjoy lo-fi music, sometimes strange electronic and ambient music, and a lot of old-time and bluegrass music as well.

I'm a slow reader, but I'm getting better. Typically I read mostly novels, but I've been trying to read more non-fiction, especially math related books.
