About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Teach and travel and meet as many people from as many places as possible while being at least a semi positive international ambassador
ABOUT ME
When I was young my family moved around a lot because of the military and eventually we settled in a city I never really took to. I accepted it for a long time but after going through all the motions and "succeeding" to an office job after school I started to lose it. One year of staring at the same 4 walls and hearing questions about settling down and buying a house was enough. I left and never looked back.
PHILOSOPHY
I basically just wonder to myself, if everyone acted the way I do would the world be better or worse off? I know what the answer should be.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Before I had ever heard of this I have always offered up my couch, or floor, to any friends or travellers who I am on the same page as.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I lived in a flop house with 5 other people for a year before leaving Canada and had people and bands pulling through at least once a week. It was a blast!
When I lived in Japan and had my own apartment with a guest room and a living room I hosted other teachers and travellers whenever I could help. I met countless incredible people and never really had any bad experiences.
Interests
I grew up on skateboarding, snowboarding, and more recently a lot of biking. I hate exercise but I like to stay active. When I get restless I usually go biking or hiking.
In the last few years I have become really interested in languages and cultures and speak Japanese, French, and now am studying Mandarin.
