to meet different people from different parts of the world. I love meeting locals Even though I may be a tourist in your town, but I love to experience the local life living. What locals do, where locals go, how they live (their house/placee), how they travel (transportation), What they eat, who they hang out with, house get-together etc. etc. It is not the same when you stay at a hotel and just meet them off the street or at a shop. That's why I love this platform. CS offers us hospitable people to meet others alike, those who value friendships and wanting human connection. Sure we can get a hotel room but thats all you gonna get.

ABOUT ME (us)

My partner Richard and I both love to host and travel. Love meeting new people and making lasting connections. If you didn't catch that, we are gay. (and our 1 roommate is also gay). We are not the club/bar kinda gay. We are the homebody type. We love to joke around and laugh. To non-gay men, this information is only information. It is NOT suggestives, NOT innuendos, NOT an attraction towards you. Please get over yourself.

We love to entertain, cook, and I enjoy being in the backyard gardening. I also enjoy doing handy work around my house, but for some reason they are all half way done. hahahha.

We are polite, considerate, great sense of humor, honest and enjoy having meaningful conversation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting people from all sort of lives / cultures / countries and making new and hopefully lasting friendships. Northridge may not be geographically desirable when you visit LA/Hollywood, but if you have a car and don't mind "the valley", we would love to host you. We also have a swimming pool that is hardly used.

Although we don't have an extra guest room for you, and since I'm a licensed massage therapist with my own in-home studio, you are more than welcome to sleep in that room. Because this is my full time job, I use that room during regular working hours (sometimes evenings), so you have to put the room back on a daily basis. This room is also the master bedroom of the house so our bathroom is in this room and we'd need to come in to use the bathroom.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new with this group of couch surfing, but I have crashed at people's house, people I just met online or through friends. This is the first official site of such. I can't wait to host and learn about each other.

When I'm home, I spend a lot of time in the yard. I am new to gardening and we have 3 different types of orange trees, 1 grapefruit tree, guava tree, peach tree, Pomegranates, KumQuat, banana, grapes, peaches and some herbs.

I am scared of height that I couldn't walk up the great wall of China but I did Zip lining in Hawaii.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a California Licensed Massage Therapist. I like "fixing" you if you have knots on your back or you have limited range of motion. Nothing is better when my client leaves feeling much better.

I love learning about anything, especially culture, people, and human behavior. I should be a psychologist.. but its too late now. hahahha

Gardening. I collect my food scraps for my worm farm that turns into compost/fertilizer. We have 3 different types of Oranges, grapefruits, Guava, Pomegranates, Peach, grapes, Tomatoes, Eggplant, peppers, sweet potato leaves ( they are like Spinach when cooked). Starting Avocado, apples, figs and berries.

DIY: I am in the process of building a deck. so we'll see hahahaha.

I can share my sense of humor, and if you'd like, I'd give you a massage as a thank you for hosting me. Legit of course. Unless you have a table, It won't be a full session but you'll feel good, I promise you. I can teach you too.
