ABOUT ME
first of all, despite of my name, i am a guy...the fact is that in Italy "Andrea" is a male name...actually i believe that mine is the only country in the world where it works like this...i grew up in a little village 100km far from Venice but currently i'm living in Dublin...it has been a little more than a year so far...
i have also been living in Spain for a year...i think the most unforgettable year of my life...
i am an easy going guy...i hardly get on bad with people...and this is not always good as u may think...
on weekends i like to go out with my girlfriend and some friends, have a couple of drinks and that kind of stuff...i can be a perfect granddad, at home with my pijiama and sleepers at 10pm or being a real party animal and hang out till morning...normally if there is music after a while i show my incredibly dance skills...eheh!
i simply love good food...i think is one of the greatest pleasures life can give you...
i dont smoke and my granny's name is Maria...i think Tetris is the greatest videogame ever!
i would like to be a translator and i'm trying my best...but dont take me too seriously...
PHILOSOPHY
Love is everywhere! just have a look around!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
my friend alberto made me know this site and i immediately thought it was a great idea, if well used...
i guess there are a lot of people out there that use CS just to get free accommodation...i dont think this is CS spirit...it is more about meet other people, share you life for a while and, why not? trust a little bit more the human being...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
i hosted a couple of guys...by now all of them have been good experiences...but i always select very carefully...

Teach, Learn, Share
the word "ciao", used in Italy both as 'hi' and 'bye' derives from the old venetian dialect. In the golden days of the Venetian Republic gentlemen used to say hello to ladies with "s-ciào vostro", literally meaning 'I am your servant'. Later on it has been transformed into the actual spelling "ciao" and it extended to the whole Italy. Nowadays it has been adopted by many regions of Eastern Europe, Spain and most of South America (brought there by Italian immigrants).
