Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to get to know local people while traveling. There is no better way of getting to now a place, its people and its atmosphere.

Interests

Traveling, food (cooking and, not least, eating), literature, music, cinema, learning languages, meditation, sports

Music, Movies, and Books

Great music: Everything from classical music (Bach, Schubert, Arvo Pärt...) to ambient (Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada....) to reggaeton (yeah, I do admit it! Spanish speaking people can't me because of that) and of course good old singer-songwriter music (Nick Drake, Jason Molina, Leonard Cohen...)

There are too many books and films I admire. To the notorious island I would certainly take Nietzsche's "Zarathustra" and David Foster Wallaces non-fiction writings. And some movies of Jim Jarmusch and Woody Allen.
