my favorite music is a see-saw between classical and some types of rock. I love string quartets, small vocal ensembles, and piano music. My favorite bands are Blonde Redhead, Joy Division, Fugazi, Mew, and Interpol.

I also love European folk music, tango, and jazz (the good kind, not smooth).

My favorite authors are Steinbeck, Vonnegut, Rainer Maria Rilke, and Saul Bellow.

My favorite movies are Fight Club, Amelie, Waking Life, Eternal Sunshine, and La Dolce Vita.
