Hi!! Ciao!!
I'm Riccardo (Rik for short) and I live and work in Savona.
I grow up in my birthplace and think Liguria is one of the best place where to live if you love the sea.
So I'm proud and keen to show my land to everyone...

I love travelling, both for work or pleasure.
I like learning different aspects and habits from different cultures.
I love sports, the sport is the best school of life and an international language. Volleyball is my passion, and I'm also a trainer now.
I have a big, generous heart, or at least is what my friends say about me!

Savona is a small town on the seaside and is very beautiful in summer time. The nearest airport are Genova, Torino and Nice. In 2 hours by train you can get in Milano or, during winter, you can arrange a snow day on the mountains.
Savona is now a big hub for Costa cruise ship. Every week there are many boats leaving and arriving. Near Savona there is also the ferry terminal for Corsica and Sardegna.

I joined CS years ago, but only when I bought my own home I have the opportunity to appreciate it 100%. I'd created and I manage the SAVONA CS GROUP. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I remember the first time someone surfed at my place: it was very exciting!!
A new world of people and friendships opens!
I want to continue to host and to be hosted! It's as adictive as drug could be!!
When I decide to host someone for me is like an holiday weekend: I like to dedicate all the time that I have free to my guests, like a touristic guide. I also like to exchange some interest and cultural things, like food for example, as a guest I like to be introduced at the local habits.

Interesses

I like all kind of sports. I can't stand still!
Volleyball, beachvolley, basket, diving, skiing, mountain bike, running.

I love photography, and that match easily with the travelling passion! I want to improve my photo skills.

When I meet someone coming from another country I'm interested to discover the food and drinks, they can tell a lot of things about a new culture.

I like to spend time with friends and I love to travel around the world when I have time (and money of course...)

I can teach you (I'm a trainer, remember?) how to play volleyball and beachvolleyball... (which is quite a national sport on the ligurian beaches)

I'm trying to learn russian and chinese languages (I start at work with small courses). Any kind of help is welcome!

I wish to learn to make better photos with a reflex digital photo-camera... can you teach me?!
