Overview
About Me
I've spent my young life moving around the US, traveling around Europe and Asia. Over the years, I developed a number of great long-term, long-distance person-place relationships along the way, but no place ever felt like home. Until last summer, when I returned to Estonia.
Estonia was the perennial summer destination of childhood holidays, but suddenly, the land of my native tongue was speaking differently to me. Calling me home to the land of my ancestors, a place that had transformed into someplace new. Turns out I'm new, too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I always want to develop new person-place relationships; I trust that living in Europe will bring me to many not-yet met places. I'm thrilled by how much easier it is just taking off on a last-minute trip, as compared to when I was living in New York.
There's no better way to know a place and its culture, history, and countryside, than through its unofficial ambassadors: ordinary people. Couchsurfing events have introduced me to some of the most interesting individuals I know around the world, so here's hoping for opportunity to forge some new friendships!
