ABOUT ME

I am wild, kind, giving, fiery, wolfish, dedicated, unusual, honest, challenging, self-assured, compassionate, playful, curious, ever changing and above all, loving. Think mashup of Kermit the Frog, Xena Warrior Princess and Yoda. Or something like that.

It is my joy to offer healing and co-create connection through massage therapy, Reiki, dance, crystals, sound healing, working with plants and being present. I can be found singing, dancing, playing, creating and generally being a Muppet on a daily basis. I am thrilled to explore all the possibilities ahead and how I can cultivate more of what I love and desire in my life. Right meow, that is taking the form of travels to the west coast and Hawaii and maybe some other places too. Learning to live in closer connection with the earth is what my heart calls me to at present.

I am always growing and changing to be even better than I am and I love encouraging and supporting others in doing the same for themselves! I believe that is what we are here for. Inspiring and creating more freedom, connection, expression, compassion, and love is certainly what my life is for, at least.

PHILOSOPHY

Belief is powerful. We can create our reality, starting with the thoughts we think and letting these be the root of our actions. Since we have this power, I feel it is in the best interest of all if we choose thoughts that light us up, inspire and bring love, joy and fulfillment to ourselves and others.
I pay little heed to limitations. I prefer to believe in how amazing and incredible we all can be when we are truly connected to our hearts, to the earth and to our fellow beings. I am psyched to see what new realities can be created when more of us start believing in ourselves and the boundless love, support, creativity and possibility this universe offers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a few people and it has been incredible. I have made some wonderful friends who inspire me and learned more than I could have ever imagined. I hope to be able to host again in the future. As a native born Southern girl, I think the hospitality thing is just in my blood.

Interests

At the root of all my interests seems to be the theme of connection. Of the deep and ineffable variety, be that with myself, with another being, with nature, the cosmos, the divine. The kind that doesn’t even require words, as if they could begin to describe it. The sort of connection where everything else falls away and there is only the present moment with whatever beings and energy it may hold, but also a sense of all moments, all beings. Oneness. Anything that leads to that is awesome in my book. I have found this to take countless forms and discovering new ones is a delight.

Some present interests of mine are dance (especially hoop dance), yoga, singing, gardening, deep conversation, being in nature, energy work, healing circles, plant medicine, magic, alchemy, hugs, cycles and patterns, geology, love, permaculture, mycology, acro yoga, aerial arts, fermenting, meditation, fire dancing, crystals, cats and all other creatures, growing, making and sharing awesome food, celestial bodies, reading, learning and always growing.

Music is the quickest way to heaven. It’s the source of all creation.
Listening to music can change your DNA, son.
Everybody got their own transmission.
The frequency of thought will impact the magnetism. Love is all I need to be.
The message that I’m sending is the same I am receiving.
Love is what energizes me, so there is love within the rhythm I am breathing.
I take the music everywhere I go.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All of life is amazing if you really think about it. And life isn't so much about doing, it is about being.

The connection I feel to myself and the Universe when I dance is probably one of the most amazing things I have experienced. Time and separateness from the rest of the world fall away completely. I feel a tremendous sense of oneness and peace. Dancing with others or with fire is even more amazing still.

The expanding awareness of energy that has come about as a result of my massage and energy work practice is phenomenal. Being able not only to clearly sense energy, but to send and receive it as well boggles my mind, but in a totally awesome way.

I am constantly in awe of the beauty in nature. The sounds of rainstorms, the expansiveness of the night sky, the power and depth of the ocean..I could go on forever.

Teach, Learn, Share

Sharing is caring and caring is love. I am delighted to share my knowledge of hoop dance, massage, energy work, plant medicine, yoga, holistic health, or any other subject I am well versed in.
I am always delighted to learn new things. At the moment, I would really like to learn more about permaculture and making music, though I am open to other things folks might have to share. Learning more about other cultures is also of great interest to me.
