About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make the best out of life since it's too damn short to waste time on being sad, scared or angry! Try to meet as many new people, see as many new places and have as many new experiences as possible to be able to broaden and change my perspectives for the best and to better myself so to be a good person to others.

Aside from that there is this one other thing I want to do in life... I hope to manage to see all the natural wonders of the world before I kick the bucket.

ABOUT ME

Curious and always eager to learn. Love a healthy portion of mind blowing crazy fun. I like to think of myself as someone that tends to get along with everyone.

Big fan of a good ol' unexpected allnighter filled with intriguing conversation and laughter in the company of interesting people, delicious food and the occasional bottle of good wine and/or cocktails.

Normally living in the city that stole my heart in "The Land of Beer, Chocolate & Fashion", beautiful and ever lively Antwerp. One of those people that has no set plan for the future and is perfectly comfortable with it. Traveling and trying new things in life are way higher on the bucket list.

PHILOSOPHY

I think it's crucial to always keep your mind open to other possibilities and new opinions. You never cease to learn, not until your dying day. And it all is even better if I can go through life like this with a crapload of good and memorable times. A lot of people take themselves and life far too serious. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't choose, but since I'm a massive adrenaline junkie the next events certainly all are high on my "AMAZING"-list:

Quad biking in the Sahara, bungee jumping off the Blaukrans Bridge in South-Africa, skydiving, first one week solo hike in Ireland, snorkeling with a school of wild dolphins in the open sea at the Azores, playing with white lion cubs, ...

Teach, Learn, Share

If you're staying with me I'll try to make all the free time I can to show you around my amazing city. The cultural sites and musea with explanation, the restaurants with the best local food, the bars with the nicest drinks and atmosphere, the best shopping areas and if you like, the killer parties! ;) I'll give you an all-out Antwerp Experience!

What else...?

I'm a terrible cook, so the only thing I could teach on that level is how to give people food poisoning. Oh, no! Wait! I can make PANCAKES!!!!! ^_^

I can teach you a thing or two about some good Belgian beers and gin&tonic while trying them out over some sharing of good stories.

If you would happen to play an instrument I'd definitely enjoy sharing that common love for music with my singing during a little jam session.

Also very interested in new languages. A language can already tell you so many things about a country and it's people. That being said I'd love to pick up some new words in a different language and share some of my own.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If I'm staying with you I'll most definitely help out wherever I can. Like I said, not a great cook (aside from those pancakes I mentioned before), but I'm pretty badass with a chopping knife.

And I'd love to have a little jam if you play an instrument and don't mind the sound of my voice.

Countries I’ve Visited
