ABOUT ME
I can't really host at the moment BUT if you're in a bind let me know and I'll see if I can help. I CAN help you with a car ride if you need to get somewhere because public transportation in Maine is terrible.
I grew up in Wells, Maine. It is a beautiful coastal town and rich in History! Friends would say I'm outgoing and have a real sense of adventure! When I travel I like to see everything from the main tourist attraction down to the little things that make life in that area work! How are the grocery stores different? What are cultural norms and expressions different? How do they view my home country and our culture? Things like that. I have diverse tastes in things and will travel far and wide to satisfy them. Rock climbing and Paragliding are things I like to travel to do
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Living in the seacoast region, I get a lot of travelers passing through and this is usually a nightly stop. But this area has so much to offer as well! I enjoy having cs'ers and showing them the best of the seacoast. Also there isn't much public transportation here so I am happy to bridge people's gaps that are trying to get around as well! Many travellers are trying to get from Portsmouth, NH to Portland, ME and without a car, that is actually pretty difficult to do.
Couchsurfing has been such a GREAT experience, some of the closest people and best times of my life have been because of Couchsurfing and I am very grateful for this place :)
Interests
I have a pretty diverse set of intrests. The big ones are: Paragliding, Jiu Jitsu, Mountaineering, Salsa, Surfing, Skiing, SCUBA, and I am learning the banjo.
Social justice, Environmental Justice, and Health Care reform are of extreme importance to me. I am politically active in progressive politics, but I have worked many years in the blue collar trades, so I don't live in an echo chamber.
I love to learn new things, and learn from other people's experiences. When I am travelling,I enjoy learning about people's perceptions about my home country and what they think of our culture. It's always an eye opening experience when you get a different, un-based opinion and a great place to learn!

Music- House, Electro, Rock Indie-electro-rock, Bluegrass, Americana, Old school hip hop
Books- I enjoy reading but life had been very busy lately. I enjoy non-fiction because it's agood opportunity to learn. 'Into Thin Air' and a 'Great and Terrible King' were fantastic reads
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did some Trekking in the Norwegian Mountains. I sent a week kayaking, hiking, hitchhiking, and petting friendly sheep. It was a spectacular experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm very much an outdoor person and mechanically inclined due to working as a Fabricator for many years. I can fix your car, weld a pipe or teach you how to start a fire with no matches. I'd love to show and love even more to learn!
I am also politically active and can show you how to organize in your community
I owned a coffee truck before the pandemic and can show you how to make a mean latte!

I would love to cook you a traditional meal from New England!
