ABOUT ME
I'm working on figuring out what matters to me. It sounds cheesy for sure! But it is fascinating to think about changing what I don't like in my life (or more simply, in my life style).
I left Europe 6 years ago, to come to the US, to 'see by myself'. I guess I now want to continue traveling, by actually living and working in places abroad.
I bike as much as I can, and try to limit my environmental footprint. I'm discovering fatherhood.
PHILOSOPHY
I am often late! Because I would have friends for a brunch and we would just let everything go to enjoy. They are opportunities in my everyday life that deserve to be taken, even if they are not on my schedule.
(Don't get me wrong: if I have to meet you somewhere, I'll be on time!)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Not too much ambition in that matter: I'm doing my best reply to the requests in a 'timely manner'...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Drove me to unexpected places, and to interesting, and somewhat different people outside of my field of life. It's always been a good part of my trips, something which made them better. I feel I'm missing something when I can't meet people living in the places I'm visiting.
Interests
Talking, biking, mountain hiking, meeting new people, discover new places and cultures, and ways of life -- as it seems that everything is not black or white.
I want to learn photography, and make discoveries.

Music, Movies, and Books
Novecento, la legende du pianiste sur l'ocean,
French movies (lots of great texts!), House of flying daggers, Marx Brothers, Al Pacino.
Recently new interest in urban planning (yep, it could almost tell how happy you are!), and local as well as environmental politics/economics (The ecology of commerce, le pari de la decroissance, no logo)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing in the French Calanques, going on week end trips with my fiancee on a 20 year old motorbike, watching a see turtle going back to the ocean after laying eggs on the beach, inviting travelers that I had just met to stay at my place, hitchhiking to Venice from Marseille (well, did not make it). But I'm always expecting something.
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Costa Rica, Japan, Niger, Togo
Countries I’ve Lived In
