Hi! My name is Jay, and I am a medical student in Connecticut. I am a first generation American, and I am originally from Nashville, Tennessee.

I am an adventurer by nature both in my work and my travels. I have had jobs in construction, food service, animal training, and now medicine. Also I have had the opportunity to travel throughout the United States as well as through western Europe on Couchsurfing. It has been a wonderful experience!

As a member of the Couchsurfing community, I wish to gain a better understanding of people's stories and how they interface with their environment and culture.

During our time together, I wish to learn about what you do and the challenges that you face. I also wish to share about my complex path to medicine and the current challenges in medicine.

I also enjoy spending my time traveling, repairing old houses, and working on my car - 1991 Mazda Miata. Moreover, I love driving on the open road with the top down.
