ABOUT ME

I like to get lost and find myself again. In a city, a country, in the world, in my life.
I'm a quixotic creature with a love for traveling and a sharp bite. I've tried living by conventions and found that mold too narrow and restraining. Now I'm trying to make something out of this life that can fit me.
I like doing things, most preferably of an exciting nature.

I am a curious person. Interested in The World, other peoples lives and thoughts, the body, movement, dance, creativity, language. Moving makes me happy. Standstill scares me. I like climbing, hiking, being close to the water, imbibing booze, going out, gardening, solving puzzles, practising slacklining, studying..... Exceptionally fun things. And Music, lots of! loud!

Well... just deleted the initial post here, because the list of music got rediculously long. I like a good guitar riff or a funkey beat, watching most kinds of life music, I guess I just love music in general, discovering new stuff every day.

Also, I am reading loads and quite often different books parallel. I find learning things entertaining and therefore I enjoy reading all sorts. Actually the more intellectual input I get the happier I am. I like simple thrillers (mainly German and Scandinavian stuff at the moment) but also specialised books about different issues or foreign language dictionaries. Fun and socio-critical stuff, intelligent humour, like Douglas Adams or Terry Pratchett (!) can be good, too. Calvin and Hobbes always make me smile and I love reading the great classics and adore Goethe and his Storm-and-Stress literature.

Weee! I like to learn new things. I am happy to teach German or English in exchange for your native language. Right now I'm trying some funkey juggeling, and finetuning some very (VERY!) basic acrobatics. Well, I do knit and sew a lot so I can make clothes. Nothing more relaxing. Oh and I've got some quite all right massage skills! But ja, I love to meet people that can share skills and I can learn something from. Let's do this.
