About Me

I’m Korean and was born in Seoul, KOREA. I grew up in beautiful Fiji. Yes, I am mixed in every culture; it is very helpful while I travel. I can blend in with everyone and find something good everywhere. 2012.03.01 I quit my job as a primary school teacher in South Korea and started traveling around the world. During my travels, I have worked as a barista, a tour guide, a writer for a guidebook, an employee with South Africa Tourism, the founder of the Project ‘I Love My INDIA’, and running Lassi Guest House in India, Turkey, and Georgia.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading books. I’ve never had a TV so don't watch much, but do love documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am a HUGE fan of India.

I traveled around India in 2005 when I was a teenager, and I fell in love with India. Every year I have tried to stay in India for 2~3 months and when I started to travel around the world, a travel agency offered me a position as a tour guide for India, Nepal & Sri Lanka. So, officially, I started living in INDIA in 2012. I live in Udaipur, Land of Kings, Rajasthan. Udaipur is called 'White City,' because of a house coloured with white paint. It is an artist's city; you will find many galleries while walking in the old city. It has a huge lake in the old city with a lake palace; the palace is a popular honeymoon destination for Indian couples. Can you imagine how it feels to live in India?!

Project ‘I Love My INDIA’ & Lassi Guest House

As I told you, I was a teacher. I studied education because I believe education can change one's life. I quit my job to travel, but I still love children. After I moved to India, I wanted to do something for children who were not going to school and instead were hanging around the city. However, I did not want to receive donations from others, so I started Lassi Guest House. When people stay there, they buy one book for the library, and one of the university students teaches children how to read and write about the books. Last year we had our 1st exhibition. We invited their friends, parents, and travelers. If you want to give a book to children, stay at Lassi Guest House.
