Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done an overland trip from Germany to India and back, via Turkey, Iran, Pakistan. I was traveling 7 months and have done only couchsurfing. It was an amzing experience and it really changed my life. I met so many wonderful people, made a lot of new friends, sharing deep moments, seeing the world trough different eyes, learning from each other and learning to LISTEN and trying to understand... I think it is small step towards peace in yourself and in the world.

Interests

I am interested in topics of freedom in a individual way and community based, ecology, queer-feminist issues. Always looking for ways of life free of hierarchies as possible.
I like to be in the nature to calming down, as much as the vibe of big cities. In the last months I have done different theatre projects in Berlin, trying to find creative ways of expressions for topics which bother me.
I love meeting other people, enjoying time with my friends, debating, spending life together. I always lived in different community projects, the last six months in a caravan on a wagon place.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am highly addicted by music of Anthony and the Johnsons. And I like as well: Sigur Ros, Pink Floyd, Queen, Clara Luzia, CocoRosie, german speaking music of Tim Fischer, Georg Kreisler, Marlene Dietrich, Fruechte des Zorns, Milch und Blut and a lot of WORLD MUSIC...

I really believe in the art of Cinema. I love to see good movies with profound stories which touches me and keep me thinking for days, movies with political and critical insights or which just take me on a real good journey. That happened with films by Deepa Mehta, Aamir Khan, Roberto Benigni, Pedro Almodovar, Quentin Tarantino, Fatih Akin, Caroline Link, Sean Penn.

Sadly I have to less time sit down and to read, mostly only when I am traveling. I like books by Rafik Schami, Hermann Hesse, Arundhati Roy, Michael Ende, Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt, Marlo Morgan.
