About Me

CURRENT MISSION

deciding on my place in this world... again.

ABOUT ME

HR within IT. With analytical mind, but went on to pursue humanities. Spending half of my salary on make-up and computer games. Proud iPod and Samsung Galaxy owner. Traveler who loves being home. Latin American Studies alumni, now taking Swedish classes. My life is all but logical.

PHILOSOPHY

I won't be original - carpe diem. The more places you have visited, the more people you have met, the more time you have spent on doing things you love - the happier you are. My friends laugh I collect weird stuff into my CV, but that's just half of the truth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Peru. I hosted a couple of people in Krakow, but mainly guys I had known before. Apart from that I try to participate in CS weekly meetings in Krakow as much as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch a lot of American TV drama (who doesn't?) - Fringe, Bones, Haven, True Blood and much more. I guess my favorite movie would be the Lord of the Rings trilogy, but in general I'm not very keen on cinema.

But my absolute number one when it comes to entertainment are computer games. I'm a PC gamer (Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Civilization, Skyrim, Assassin's Creed, etc.) - but I'm not prejudiced against console gamers :)

Regarding music - I listen to pretty much everything from folk to hard rock.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've become real family with complete strangers - people from another country, who live on the opposite side of the planet, who don't speak my native language, whom I visit rarely. I would've never thought it's possible, but after all those years not seeing each other, I still think of them as my dad, mom and my little brother.
