Hi everyone!

I'm Lucas, I was born and raised in the south west of France but I'm currently living in Sydney, where I moved to work as a financial controller, after spending 2 years in Brussels, 9 months in Lisbon and 7months in Copenhagen.

I like meeting people from everywhere, tasting different food, and discovering different cultures... thats why I'm on Couchsurfing, because lot of peole share the same spirit as mine :-)

I live in Surry Hills with my partner Edwige. Surry Hills is a vibrant neighbourhood in Sydney which offers great cafés, restaurants and pubs. We are in love with our neighbourhood!

Interessen

I have many different interests, travels of course, but also Boxing / Mixed Martial Arts, geopolitics, tasting some good food, Fintech, cryptocurrencies....

I like learning about different cultures, politics, and also about food, drinks, and local specialities.

Movies: Notorious, Sunrise, Leon, North By Northwest, Leon, A Orange Clockwork, It's A Wonderful Life, Vertigo, Casablanca, Ladri Di Biciclette, Eyes Wide Shut... and basically all of Hitchcock and Kubrick movies.

I love cartoons!!! Hey Arnold, Tintin... I think I kept my kid soul :-)

Books: Charles Bukowski, Alberto Moravia. I like reading books about travels.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Swimming in a frozen lake in Finland by -15°C outside. Typical Finnish thing so I was glad to do it :)

I made also bungee jumping, quite good experience.

Going to Tikal, departure from Flores in the night to watch the sunrise. But unfortunatelly the sun never came haha

Swimming with whale sharks off the coast of Isla Holbox in Mexico... also snorkelling around Caye Caulker in Belize where I saw turtles, manatees, sharks....

Meeting Santa Claus in Finland!! The true one!! My dream job when I was a kid :-D
