About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To take a motorcycle from Sierra Leone up to Spain.

ABOUT ME

My name is Nathan Palmisano. I'm currently teaching Language Arts in Pendembu, Kailahun District, Sierra Leone. I love West Africa a lot, and I hope to come back when my time teaching is finished

Although I love literature and traveling, I love my family and friends more. I'm not a religious person, but I will respect your faith as long as you respect those of others. Furthermore, I believe intolerance has destroyed more lives than any of the world's other problems. However, I believe the antidote is kindness; it's simple.

Nevertheless, I enjoy cheap wine more than expensive beer and fado more than flamenco. But, coffee is tantamount to breathing. I love the city, but I also love hiking and swimming in the ocean. I always crave a good conversation, but I also like loud musci. I don't know much about footballl, but I enjoy watching it and sometimes I enjoy playing it. And, I wish I could learn every language in the world, but I know that's impossible.

Ultimately, I believe that it's nearly impossible to completely describe one's self in only a couple words, so I'll leave this conversation for when I meet you by coincidence in your favorite cafe.

PHILOSOPHY

However, there's only one rule that I know of, babies - God damn it, you've got to be kind. - Kurt Vonnegut
