ABOUT ME

I'm an Animal Science major (Pre-Veterinary Medicine/Research) at Rutgers Univeristy in New Jersey, USA. I plan to go to medical school after I graduate in 2010. I am a respectful and friendly girl and love to explore other cultures--hence the reason for me joining this site!

Both of these quotes are from Randy Pausch, a professor and wonderful speaker. They are pretty self-explanatory, and I think they are a testament to the kind of life I want to live-push through the brick walls and learn from experience.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently, I don't have the means to host anyone, but I am looking forward to staying with friendly hosts throughout Europe. Hopefully from these experiences I will be able to learn how to be a great host myself one day!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with a host in France, and she was great! Couldn't have asked for a better first couch surfing experience!

Intereses

Being silly and just hanging out with my friends, raising puppies to guide the visually impaired, studying medicine, playing sports even though I'm not very graceful or athletic, horseback riding, family dinners, the beach, baseball (go Yankees!) and the list goes on..

My favorite books are The Art of Racing in the Rain, Crime and Punishment, and The Great Influenza.

Music-I like anything except hardcore punk music when you can't even understand the lyrics amidst the screaming.

Movie-Again, I like just about anything! That's how my personality is in general--I'm interested in a wide variety of things!

Algo increíble que he hecho

I went to Australia as a Student Ambassador and spent 3 weeks traveling throughout the country. I have seen everything from the Sydney Opera House to the brush of the outback! It was incredible!

Spent a few days in France-Paris and Marseille, specifically!
