ABOUT ME

Anthropologist that tends to forget that not everything should be observed and analysed ! Lived in Nakuru, Kenya for 2 years during my PhD fieldwork. Now back in Kenya for Postdoc research. I LOVE hiking and adventure and can talk hours about culture with a small c , love and life! Welcome at my place in Ghent , Belgium or Nakuru, Kenya to hang out! Ohh … I also used to do a lot of rock climbing but life took over … :( but take me to the mountains and I’ll the happiest person in the world !

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hiked the GR20, went to Bangladesh, spent time with in Burundi, went hiking in the Sahara dessert, went fishing with local fishermen on Zanzibar, did a rafting expedition in Nepal, went to the Kalachakra in India, been hold at gunpoint in Congo, ... did anthropological fieldwork in Nakuru, Kenya among healers and herbalists, and travel(ed) a lot for conferences which I try to combine with fun hikes !
