About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Traveling the world for a year, enjoying the simple things in life like meeting awesome people, exploring nature, meandering the streets of new cities, swimming, eating good food, drinking good wine and beer.

ABOUT ME

In June 2019 I quit my job as a Sustainability Consultant in San Francisco, packed my bag, and set off to travel around the world for a year (or more). I’ve been making my way east with a loose timeline and a lots of flexibility... my favorite way to travel!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've only surfed (hoping to host someday once I'm stationary), and I've met some awesome people. I love spending time with other travelers through the CS community, and I want to learn from locals! Tell me about your country and city, culture, language, food, music, religion... I’m eager to hear everything!

Music, Movies, and Books

How am I supposed to answer these questions? Too many things. Electronic, house, EDM, dance... but also Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Tame Impala, Bob Marley, Grateful Dead... I like it all! Except maybe heavy metal lol, not down.

I didn’t find free time to read for pleasure for years because I was so caught up with work, but now that I have more free time I love reading novels. The Alchemist is a fav, Shantaram, of course Harry Potter and Game of Thrones.

Movies I’m not even going to try. Comedies, thrillers, dramas, there’s so many. The main importance is pairing it with good company and/or a good bottle of wine. That way, even if the movie sucks, you’re happily entertained.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I mean, there’s endless answers to this. But let’s say, quitting my job to go travel. One time I also booked a next day flight to Easter Island on a complete whim. That turned out great

Teach, Learn, Share

I can make the best lasagna, teach some SoCal slang, make dank cocktails, teach you how to say cheers in multiple languages, and most importantly, make you laugh (assuming you have a good sense of humor)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories, laughs, home-cooked meals, drinks, and making new memories
