ABOUT ME

I am traveling and playing around the world whilst studying infectious disease ecology at the U-M.

Though I've been raised in the rather flat state of Michigan I love climbing, mountaineering, kayaking, skiing, and mtn biking as well as sailing. As such I do a lot of volunteer work with local youth groups and love working with youngsters.

I've got wide musical tastes, but I've been playing the violin for 10+ years and love playing classical music as well as Celtic, folk, and creating spontaneous improv jam sessions.

I don't shy away from philosophical conversations and love pondering the dark secrets and bright realities of this world!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Spent most of the past summer wandering through the American and Canadian west couchsurfing, mountaineering, and climbing - hoping to surf and host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed in Bellingham with two wonderful sets of people and also in Vancouver, CA.

Interests

Like I said, anything and everything outdoors, International Public Health, making music, pineapples, amateur photography, ecology, world affairs.
