..buzzing around a hostel kitchen one morning, singing away to myself and a lady asked me: "Are you just happy or are you happy because it's Friday?"

"I'm happy because I'm alive! Because, when you stop to think, and when you realise you are alive, happiness is the natural response!"

Sometimes it's hard to realise you're alive, there are many things that can stop you seeing it or feeling it. I'm not always happy, I'm human and I feel the many things we humans feel - all of them things!

I also have a good memory, yet I do forget the most important thing from time to time.. and sometimes I need reminding: that I am alive! Every time I remember or am reminded I smile to myself; all I can possibly feel is happy.

I love people and places who and which make me feel alive :)

Friday is nice too!

Watched a lot of films when I was a teenager, not so many now on my travels, though I bring a decent sized collection with me.. I love films!

Read books when I was a child, it's gotten tougher since, though I always seem to travel with a small collection! Mostly philosophy, yoga or psychology books, Roald Dahl if we're getting serious!.. I love books!
