I've recently started my solo travelling journey and plan to travel around the world until the end of 2023. During my travels I hope to meet new people, both locals and fellow tourists, and this way learn about new cultures, people and also myself.

Culture, food and nature are important to me and often determine the next stop on my journey! And before going, I like to research the place where I am going - its culture, its history, and its people - and try to see and experience as much as I can. But at the same time I prefer to be flexible and go with the flow. One big pleasure of travelling for me is meeting new people and more often that not, some new travel ideas emerge.

As a travelling companion, surfer or host, I am respectful of others (and myself), tactful about plans and time, and eager to engage in various travelling and cultural experiences together.

In my own hometown, I am happy to show people around town, give practical tips in terms of routes, times, costs, as well as unique places to see and things to experience. I always hope that the visitors enjoy their time and get the most out of their visit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing presents a great opportunity to do meet people during my travels. Sicily in March'23 has been my first stop and that's where I really started using the platform. And already during the first few days, I had a pleasure of meeting several locals and fellow travellers, with whom we spent several days discovering new things about Palermo and each other. This is reason enough for me to be on this site!
