ABOUT ME
Peruvian, married, mother of a beautiful girl, living in LA for almost 6 years, love to learn about different cultures and meet people that enjoy life and value others.
PHILOSOPHY
I think that everybody is here with the purpose of being happy and help others to be happy, sometimes is not so easy but that's the magic of staying alive!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted many travelers back back home in Peru, some in LA , I have to thank CS for the many friendships i have made in these years.
Right now I am unable to host but I will be more than happy to show you around downtown LA or LA in general :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have known wonderful people through CS from what I learn a lot about their countries, languages, etc etc, and I have been couchsurfer 3 times already, my first host was a lovely lady who rescued me and 3 of us , from the rainy english countryside even without knowing us, we contacted her through his son who was traveling at that time and she welcome us like family, amazing! my second host was a wonderful girl from Germany living in Edinburgh, she was extremely kind to gave us her own bed! to me and my sister, thank you Karina! and the third host was a peruvian living in Edinburgh!!! it was a big surprise to meet someone from my own country in Edinburgh, the experience was amazing: cooking peruvian food being so far from our country, it was magic! all my experiences with CS have been amazing :)I have hosted friends travelers back home in Peru from Canada, France and Finland, I have done sigthseeing in Lima with friends from India, Poland, France, Denmark, etc etc so many memories and experiences that in fact change my view of the world. Now, L.A. is much more hectic than Lima, but I enjoy showing the city and I hosted a two CS from Japan, and showing around the city to travelers from France. Sharing time and talk with travelers from all over the world definitely has changed the way I saw the world and I am very thankful for that.
I have to mention a very special Parisian lady: Pierrete, I haven't meet her in person yet, I am looking forward to, she has been amazing, being new in a country (US) she was cheering me up without knowing it from the distant France, I would be always grateful to her :)
Interests
When I was single I liked to travel from town to town in Perú, being inmerse in how people in different regions live. To share a nice warm meal having a conversation about the place where they live, stories, history, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books
We don't have a TV, we decided to don't have a TV when we got married, we fill that space with conversations, walking in the neighborhood, reading, etc we see movies once in a while that we rent movies from the video rent downstairs :)We read the New Yorker every week, but when we have a chance I like to read magazines from all over the world, especially french magazines: Le Point, L'Express.I am not into Science fiction reading but Alex likes science fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
