CURRENT MISSION
Trying to see the world in colors that don't exist.
ABOUT ME
Ahoi all you beautiful people out there!
I'm a 27 year old student from Berlin. Right now I'm writing my master thesis on poetry slams in Brazil and work as a tourist guide in Germany's capital. After spending eight years in Argentina, Brazil and a small German town (it's called Erfurt, I'm pretty sure most of you never heard of it but you should definitely go there someday!), I'm enjoying life in my home city again. The plan was staying here for some time but somehow that doesn't work out as soon as you started travelling. So I managed to stay four months in Berlin without going anywhere else and now I'll hit the road again. This time, Europe!!
On my "Eurotrip" I will be accompanied by my wonderful friend Lari from Brazil. She is an architect/interior designer and we shared a flat in Rio de Janeiro for almost 10 months. For her, it's the first time in Europe, so I'm exited to get to know the continent's through her perspective. As you get connected with a place through its people we want to travel surfing couches. That's why I'm always happy and grateful to be able to meet all of these interested and interesting, lovable and loving human beings out in the world – traveling or being visited. I really hope to move around like this for some more time.
As for my personality I recommend you reading the references...It's hard to describe yourself as others see you =)
PHILOSOPHY
"Who what am I? My answer: I am the sum total of everything that went before me, of all I have been seen done, of everything done-to-me. I am everyone everything whose being-in-the-world affected was affected by mine. I am anything that happens after I've gone which would not have happened if I had not come. Nor am I particularly exceptional in this matter; each "I," every one of the now-six-hundred-million-plus of us, contains a similar multitude. I repeat for the last time: to understand me, you'll have to swallow a world."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I had many marvellous experiences with people from couchsurfing. I think the idea behind this community is very important because it suports sustainable tourism. I'm always happy when i get the opportunity to host people in my hometown!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Having a "picnic" with typical french food at a small bar somewhere in Paris with a Chanson singer in the background.
Being invited to a colorful party with friends of a couchsurfer and being unbelievably gently received our first evening in Taxco, Mexico.
Being invited to a Brazilian wedding in Rio de Janeiro was awesome too!
Sitting at the beach of Puerto Madryn in Southern Argentina at night with our host and others surfers looking at the stars, trying to play drums and harmonica and drinking the delicious!! Argentinean Malbec red wine.
Interests
i try to spend as much time as possible with my beloved ones cooking food from my own and foreign cultures, chatting about everything under the sun, listening to music, being active (hiking, cycling...fresh air!!). this is everything i need to be happy!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
one time in dublin in a crowded pedestrian area: a blind man tries to find his way through the crowd obviously having his problems, bumming into things and people. a busker is observing the scene, stops playing his music, goes to the blind man and without a word grabs his arm and starts walking with him. this was a scene that impressed me so much because it showed so much of philanthropy. something i experienced several times during my time in dublin.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to learn Italian.
I can teach how to bake German cake. Did this one time in Mexico. It was a full success =) Also I've been told that I prepare better caipirinhas than most Brazilians. If that's true you'll have to find out by yourself.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Caipirinha, German cakes, some nice couchsurfing stories
