About Me

I'm a cheerful awkward creature, kind of nerdy and generally nice. I don't sleep enough, and feed on an ovo-lacto vegetarian diet. More like lacto-diet (to be honest: I LIVE ON COTTAGE CHEESE AND GREEK YOUGURT). I love to explore, wander around and roll on fields. I read too much and walk around with a soundtrack.
I also have a tumblr: http://nuclearpomegranate.tumblr.com/

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to get in touch with people and explore my surroundings, rather than being edgy-tourist-y. Couchsurfing is definitely the best way!

Interests

Oddities, modern history (I'm not as good at contemporary one), history of art, fantastic literature, sociology, linguistics, food (spreading hate for hydrogenated palm-oil), engaging on pointless conversations on dairy. Being awkward. LEARNING NEW THINGS, point of view, complot theories

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm open to a lot of music genres, like a whole lot of stuff. Music is amusing. Just avoid Latino Dance and tuff with a lot of Saxophones (I have a Last.fm account that works pretty badly but keeps my trends updated: http://www.last.fm/user/Giulycat).

I like pretty much all of Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Wes Anderson and Jan Svankmajer's fimography, and I'm generally really enthusiastic about stop motion, sci-fi and stuff (I'm a Star Wars obsessed kid, apologising in advance). I like cheesy '80s films.
I might talk for hours about Metropolis, fangirling alert.

And well, same goes for books, I like Vonnegut, Gaiman, Douglas Adams, Asimov, Focault, Sylvia Plath, a bunch of Italian authors I won't bother you about, and again, stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can touch my nose with my tongue! And, huh, I once jumped out of a window without getting broken.

Teach, Learn, Share

Be kind, make the next one happy, do as best as you can as much as you can. Don't overstress. Learn to rest before you break.

What I Can Share with Hosts

General help, my warm and a bit loud presence, funfacts and big smiles. Especially funfacts. Ask me whatever, I'll try to do as much as I can! I'm chatty, stop me if you get tired. I like hugs, as well.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, England, Germany, Greece, Ireland, San Marino, Spain, Switzerland, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In

England, Italy, United States
