About Me
CURRENT MISSION
escaping the rat-race into an alternative economy... Trying to find my calling
ABOUT ME
I like the beach, snorkelling, surfing, swimming. I like the outdoors, bike riding, rock climbing, bushwalking. I love visiting with my mates, having a few quiet wines, cooking. I love trying new foods and learning to cook new foods. I love cooking for others and sharing a good bottle of red wine.
I took a year out of my life to travel Europe with with my then-partner. On the trip we fell pregnant and returned to Australia to have our daughter, Gigi, who arrived in July 2011. I now am part of a blended family with my Husband, step-son and daughter with our time filled with work, parenting and gardening.
PHILOSOPHY
Life's what you make it. There's no such thing as a bad experience, its all about life long learning.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I couch-surfed across Europe with my ex-partner and loved every second of it. I am now back in Australia. Whilst I don't usually take couch-surfers due to my 'family', I can occasionally host someone.
I am more than happy to meet up with people and take them to some of the beautiful places near where we live in Brisbane
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm cycled across Europe with my ex-partner. We both camped and couchsurfed for about 2 months and I loved it. We've been hosted in Munich, Deggendorf, Regensburg, Passau, Augsburg, Ulm, Mannheim, Koln, Aachen, Maastrict, Antwerp, Bruge, Ghent and London. Back in Australia many a friend has crashed on our couch in times of need.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have Bungy-jumped off the Macau Tower, which is the tallest bungy in the world.
I cycled from Munich to London with my ex-partner.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a bit about Brisbane, where to go and what to see.
Love to learn another language, trying to pick up some Italian, as our daughter is learning it at school.
And I can definitely help people to improve their English!
