As far as music goes I listen to a lot of jazz, classical and electronic (vapor) music. Love bandcamp. I'm a huge sucker for Ravel or Debussy.

Poets: Cavafy, Ungaretti were influential. Wallace Stevens is interesting.
Writers: The usual undergrad heroes. Recently got back into Bukowski.

I'll read any sort of travel narrative, diary/letters or modern history.

Movies: films from the late 70's to early 90's. I collect VHS tapes. Hard to pick a favorite. Logan's Run?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the ruins of Thassos against a full, orange moon.

Watching three mammoth waterfalls spill into a fjord.

Viewing a space shuttle launch at night.
