ABOUT ME

I'm an Engineering student but I want to open my mind to many things beyond my studies; I like languages, I'm currently learning German but I speak English, French, Norwegian and Spanish fluently.... a book of Chinese is on my desk ready to be started... :-P it's more of a personal challenge than a real willingness ehehe.
I've spent 6 months of Erasmus in Trondheim, Norway, and one month and a half in Los Angeles, California, on a Summer School at UCLA.
I want to get in contact with other foreigners!
I am part of the Erasmus association in my University and thus I can meet the foreign incoming student... I make the tourist guide for them for free and join them together with Italian students.
Now I'm also part of the wonderful student organisation AIESEC.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first couchsurfing was with Laura, a cs'er from L.A. where I was spending my Summer studying (?!really!?!) at UCLA; I also made friends with other Italian surfers the same day. Then I met a kind and helpful girl from Lituania who lived in L.A.. One of the best and longest ones was with two American girls who patiently took me around Philadelphia for 12 hours for my layover...! Thanks! A few weeks later than my return, I took around two pleasant girls from USA and Brazil with some other friends from Italy and UK.
When in Germany, I was hosted together with my travelmante by two guys in Nuremberg, Frank on Sunday and Jackson on Saturday. A very awesom experience!

Interests

After my main interest was understanding Norwegians, and after my interest in finding a way out of my bad University situation early last academic year (I made it!), and after discovering why the US Embassy bought that ancient building for a few cents and why did it make me call them through a phone number whose prefix is used for Sex Lines, whose prefix was banned on most of telephone operators and mobile operators, was banned on Call Centers (the only way out was spending 17euros (23 dollars) from my mobile phone for a 1 minute talk...) now my main interest is mocking German tidyness ahaha

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Apocalypse Now, Saving Private Ryan, Sergio Leone's films... I listen to Oasis but I'm quite open-minded and I admit they're not the best musicians of the world... there are so many more original performers like Sigur Ros... I don't read so many books though (except language courses), I like to read newspapers and magazines...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Uhm... the most amazing thing done was when I was with my girlfriend in the room she rented and the owner came into the house unexpectedly. She didn't want her to notice me, so she hid me in the wardrobe (whouthout my will)!!! She thought the owner would not come exactly in her room... but she did! She showed the room to the next person who would rent it, and I was sweating hoping the person would not want to see the wardrobe inside... thanks god he was a man so he was not so interested in how big the wardrobe was...

Teach, Learn, Share

What can I share? Well something that really heats me these days is the matter of my Bachelor Theses, Invisibilty... it means you can't see an object because the radiation that would normally hit it and thus let you notice its presence by the radiation it emits, this radiation would pass around the object and then constitute itself beyond it... I won't spend more time explaining this in case my professor found me and discovered I'm talking bullshit... :-P
