ABOUT ME

A pretty quiet guy, most people would think a lot of my behaviour and ideas are pretty old fashioned. I enjoy the natural beauty of sub-tropical Queensland where I live, and sharing it with other people that share that appreciation adds a whole other dimension to the experience. I spend a lot of time working at the moment, but I'm always looking for an excuse to change my Work:Play ratio in favour of Play.

I'm not a very domesticated person - don't cook, do just what's required in terms of washing, cleaning and tidying, so my house may be objectionable to a neat freak for example.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm starting off slow, not offering my couch yet, but I'm happy to help surfers with transport, local knowledge, and other such services. I think as I learn more about Couchsurfing I'll get right into hosting and surfing.

Movies: Lord of the Rings, The Matrix, V for Vendetta, Monty Python, Pirates of the Caribbean, Starwars 4-6, Bladerunner, can't think of any others, I have a terrible memory

Music: I have a habit of "listening to death" to songs that I love, and then disliking them for several years afterwards. Long standing favorites: powderfinger, jeff buckley, groove armada, cat empire.

Books: Anne Mcaffrey, Raymond E. Feist, David Eddings, The Book Thief, Orpheus Lost

Was amazing for me the first time I did it: climbed Mount Tibrogargan in Queensland, Australia.

I can't imagine anyone else being interested, but I know a lot about Inner Range Concept security systems, and Tecom Challenger security systems. I also know my way around many and varied PC/Windows applications. That's all I can think of.
