ABOUT ME

I'm 24 and just starting out with Couchsurfingy. I'm a pretty caring and considerate guy.Family is very important to me and I am very close to me parents and three sisters. I've been very lucky in my life so far so I try to give back as much as I can. I work in the natural gas industry in a small town in Central B.C.. I Try to make the most of everyday, never taking anything for granted. You never know when it's your time to go. I work hard so I can travel as much as I can before I get grey hair. I travelled abroad for the first time last year and got bit by the travel bug. I can't get enough! I want to make one big trip every year and go somewhere cool. On the list is China, Cape Town, Bora Bora, Croatia, Scotland.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a small town and don't get many couch requests. I hosted my first couch surfer recently and it was a great experience. I would love to host anyone traveling through beautiful B.C. I probably will be sleeping on other peoples couches more then people will be sleeping on mine. I am traveling to Europe this Spring and couch surfing for the first time and I am excited to see how it will go.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just had my first couch surfer and it was a great time. It was cool to hear her perspective of the couch surfing community. She said that couch surfing allows people to have a place to stay no matter where in the world their travels take them and that this makes the world a better place. This couldn't have gotten me more encouraged to participate in the community and experience everything it has to offer.

兴趣

I live in the country so I like pretty much every outdoor activity there is. In the summer I like fishing and swimming in the hundreds of lakes in my area. In the winter I hunker down for the long cold Canadian winter. I try to get out and "shred some nar pow" as often as I can. I want to buy a dirt bike and a snowmobile but traveling is currently consuming all of my funds. I love running, biking, walking, anything that gets me away from the front of a T.V.

Any movie made by Martin Scorsese like The Departed and Cape Fear. I like Clint Eastwood's old western's. John Wayne's movies are great. I'm a big fan of Alfred Hitchcock movies especially the ones with Jimmy Stewart. I love the oldies. I like all genres of music. Simply put, I like good music. It doesn't matter if it's Opera or House. I like fiction novels. I read on occasion but not as much as I should. I would not consider myself well read.
