Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is amazing idea and it alowed me to meet great people. As I'm growing I am sure that getting to know each other's cultures is the way for understanding and opening our minds, and therefore PEACE and LOVE around the world. If globalization is nowadays unstoppable, we have to get along, and love one another!

I love music, specially free jamin with relaxed people who do it for the joy of it!
and I'm allways open to discoveries. I started with Rock by the influences of my father - Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Genesis, Santana, and so on... and I started discovering reggae, hip hop, soul, jazz, chill out, folk, some electronic and some trance music to give me energy. I love The Beatles, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tame Impala, Peter Tosh, Toots and The Maytals, Xavier Rudd, John Butler Trio, Mos Def, Manu Chao, Pearl Jam, Highlit Tribe, and so much more......

I love movies. My favourite is INTO THE WILD, I love travel movies. Mr Nobody, Blow, Ted, The Doors, Trainspotting, Goodfellas, I'm not there, La Haine, Kids, Ken Park, Sweet and Lowdown, Lords of Dogtown, Cast Away, Moonrise Kingdom, The Machinist, Taxi Driver, Fight Club, THE KID, The Truman Show, Dumb and Dumber, Tracks, ................ I can watch all the good movies and the boring ones too, if it has some meaning I like to find it, I think it's gotta have a meaning and something to say if it's a good movie it will make you think.

I love to read Fernando Pessoa the Portuguese poet with some diferente names that represente kind of diferente personalities or points of view. Jack Kerouac. I love The Alchimist by Paulo Coelho, Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer, some by Jean Paul Sartre, Dalai Lama's book about Dying and Living a Better Life, and some more that I'm not remenbering, but I want to discover so much more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got out of home to visit my brother in Turkey and never got a way back ticket ... Since then I feel more like myself :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can try to teach English, Portuguese and Spanish. I can teach begining level guitar. I can teach to how to swim, to Bodyboard and to be safe in the waves.
I can take nice pictures and edit them, and I can work with vídeo too.
