About Me

CURRENT MISSION

STILL LOOKING TO CONQUER THE WORLD! (only in my spare time though)

ABOUT ME

Unfortunately right now hosting isn't really an option, and hasn't been for a while, that's why I left this website and my reply rate dropped to zero. I now installed the app so hopefully that'll get better soon, if anyone still cares.

I currently work as a tour guide for a company based in Braga that runs tours all around the North of Portugal, so I finally achieved the dream of getting to know people and tell them all the fantastic stories this country has that are ready for sharing, as well as learning more from the outside from the perspective of the travellers themselves.

I love stories, telling them and listening to them. My job (and my hobby) is all about, as far as I'm concerned, stories (and history, obviously) and I jump at the chance of broadening my repertoire of stories. Stories define us and you can learn so much from even the simplest ones.

Portugal has a lot to see and I'd love to show you around Braga and talk (though likely only after 6pm) and create some nice memories. We only have one life, so we might as well live while we can, no?

PHILOSOPHY

Is this still a thing people do? This is so broad and hard to sum up without writing a thesis. Hm, I guess my "philosophy" at this stage is simply to do good and make people smile, creating memories they can cherish.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can go out for a coffee or walk, show around the city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed during my hitchhicking trip through Europe (Spain, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany) and met the most amaying and interesting people while doing it. I will only travel using CS now!

Interests

Video games, post-apocalypse, reading, talking and doing nonsense, creating crazy theories about pretty much everything, cultural discussion, sightseeing, picture taking, nature, mythology, psychology, history, writing, science-fiction.

Music, Movies, and Books

As far as books go, I'm trying to find my ground again since I haven't read in ages. Currently going through Wells, Nietzsche and a few other authors.

In music, Symphonic and Progressive Metal are my jam, along with videogame soundtracks (yes really!).

Movies, almost anything that isn't unredeemably crap (i.e. Can't make fun of it) or romances. Not a big fan of the superhero craze, but not a hater. Former Star Wars buff, now into Trek.
