About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Take a year off from the rat race and head around the world on my own
ABOUT ME
I never know what to say in these things. I grew up in Sacramento, CA. In 2004, I moved to the Deep South for some work experience and haven't left. I've come to love it here...believe it or not, its a little slice of paradise. The Alabama Gulf Coast boasts sugar white sandy beaches and crystal clear water. I love hanging out at the beach 10.5 months out of the year. The easy going lifestyle is amazing. I've survived two hurricanes - Ivan and Katrina - which were not fun experiences what-so-ever.
I have a very easy-going personality, I love to be along for the ride. Good luck has always followed me or I know how to make good choices because life has been good to me. It has been happy and simple. However, it's time to make life complicated. I am ready to embark on an adventure around the world on my own, which is why I have joined the couch surfing project.
Travel experience: I've always enjoyed seeking new adventures and am rarely homesick. My first big travel adventure took me to Paris and London and since then, I've been hooked. I spent a year abroad in Firenze, Italy during my junior year of college. During that year I travelled much of western Europe. Since then, I've been all around the US and took an exciting vacation in New Zealand.
PHILOSOPHY
There is a song that I absolutely love...the lyrics go something like this: "Can't you see? Life's easy! If you consider things from another point of view!"
I always try to have a positive outlook on life because I am certain that no matter how difficult I think my life is, there is somebody who has worse luck than I do.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: One of my favorite authors is Isabel Allende, her writing is so clear and passionate. I always have my nose in a book if not two or three at a time.
Music: I have a very eclectic music taste. If I put my iPod on shuffle, the playlist would look something like this: Enya, Guns n Roses, Beethoven, Beastie Boys, Metallica, Trans Siberian Orchestra, BT, Celine Dion, etc.
Movies: I like watching movies but I am not a movie buff. I don't like gore or anything scary.
